SeBS360 was showcased at the CEOS Water Quality Workshop held on 13 April 2026 in Irvine, California, in connection with CEOS SIT-41 meeting.
Bringing together CEOS agencies and leading hydrology experts, the workshop explored how Earth observation can help tackle pressing freshwater and coastal water quality challenges through a catchment-to-coast approach. The agenda focused on translating EO data into practical, decision-relevant information for water management, covering user perspectives, critical variables, satellite mission contributions, data access, and service gaps.
As part of the programme, Lefteris Mamais, CEO of Evenflow and CEOS Executive Officer, presented two SeBS cases on aquifer management in Spain and introduced SeBS360 to the wider CEOS community. This highlighted the project’s role in demonstrating the concrete value of Sentinel data through operational use cases and benefit-focused analysis.
The event created a strong opportunity for SeBS360 to engage with experts developing actionable and scalable EO-based solutions, while reinforcing the project’s relevance to ongoing international discussions on water quality monitoring and management.
