SUMMARY:SEBS360 Exchange Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us on 20 May for the first SEBS360 Exchange Workshop\, bringing together Earth Observation (EO) service providers and users to discuss how the value of Sentinel data is assessed in practice.  \nRegister here  \n📅 20 May  \n🕙 10:00–12:00 CEST  \n💻 Online  \nDuring this introductory workshop\, EO service providers and users will explore how the value of Sentinel data is evaluated in practice. The session will focus on sharing experiences from past Sentinel Benefits Study (SeBS) use cases\,  different approaches to impact assessment\, and highlighting good practices and current challenges.   \n The format will be interactive\, with testimonials from the EO providers involved in previous SeBS cases on the importance of assessing the impact of Sentinel data\, followed by an open discussion\, allowing participants to exchange directly with peers and contribute their perspectives.   \nThis workshop will also lay the groundwork for a broader series of sessions under SeBS360\, aimed at building a Community of Practice and developing a more consistent and practical understanding of how the value of Sentinel data is assessed across sectors and thematic areas.  \nThe workshop is open to all stakeholders interested in impact assessment approaches and the use of Sentinel data in different contexts\, including analysts\, EO service providers\, institutional actors\, practitioners and operational communities such as international organisations and public authorities.  \nAgenda:\n  \n\n\n\nTime \nAgenda Item \nSpeakers \n\n\n10:00 \nSession Opening \nAlessandra Tassa (ESA) \n\n\n10:05 \nIntroduction & key methodologies \nLefteris Mamais (Evenflow) \n\n\n10:15  \n \nTestimonials from SeBS (1)   \nWater resources management in Spain  \nWater Quality Management in Germany  \nNavigation through Sea-ice off Greenland \nJordi Corbera (ICGC)  \nEstefania Blanch (IEEC)\n\n\nChristoph Deller (EOMAP) \n\n\nMatilde Brandt Kreiner (DMI)   \n\n\n10:50 \nTestimonials from SeBS (2) \nMaking Wine in France \nHighways Management in Italy \nMarc Tondriaux (TERRANIS) \n\n\nVincenzo Massimi (Planetek Italia) \n\n\n11:15 \nTestimonials from SeBS360   \nAnthony Graveline (Disaitek)  \nCharles Tellier (So-B-Green) \n\n\n11:35 \nGuided Discussion \nAll speakers –  moderated by Geoff Sawyer (EARSC) \n\n\n11:55  \nWrap-up & Next Steps \nLefteris Mamais (Evenflow)   \n\n\n12:00 \nEnd of Workshop \n\n\n\n
